What We Do

The Enigma Investment Radar is the core of the investment methodology

The Enigma Investment Radar recalculates daily the fundamental values of thousands of assets (equities as an asset class, equity regions, sectors, industries, individual stocks, currencies and commodities). Price trends, momentum and overbought/oversold signals for these assets are also analysed daily. It then interprets the fundamental values and market trends analytics to identify attractive investment opportunities (or risks). These are then screened in a disciplined rules-based approach to generate a number of different model portfolios. The Enigma Investment Radar therefore acts as an objective navigational tool for selecting global investments independently of opinion, emotion and forecasts. It can be used in all market conditions.

Investment Management

We use the Investment Ideas and Model Portfolios generated by the Enigma Investment Radar as the basis for managing the WS Enigma Dynamic Growth Fund, which is a UK-domiciled UCITS investment fund. We can also implement other Model Portfolios as segregated mandates, and plan to launch other funds and products in the near future.

Investment Research

Investment Ideas

The Enigma Investment Radar generates Investment Ideas which are provided to clients as part of our Investment Research service. The ideas are based on the “Investment Score” which is generated daily for every asset on an absolute and relative basis according to the fundamental value and market trend analytics.

Model Portfolios

The daily Investment Scores generated for each asset are combined using a disciplined rules-based approach to generate various equity-only and multi-asset Model Portfolios. These are updated daily and are subject to a turnover control. These Model Portfolios can be used by clients as a framework for implementing their own portfolios, using their own choice of stocks and funds. Alternatively, we can advise on the selection of Exchange Traded Funds to implement the Model Portfolios.
